Do you see what I see....

AS usual i set out to college at 7.30 in the morning in the great old Bendre bus..
Sat on a seat...lost in my fantasy world.. Listening to Himesh Reshammiya songs..
planning things to be done for the day....looked around..
Same old people..Familiar faces of fellow students( we never smile at each other..)
very people getting down at very streets....
but this time I had different things to witness..
Scene 1 :

A poor young woman with a small child boarded the bus with a large basket

of lemons on her head. Each lemon is precious to her with the way she was
handling them.(I waste lemons everyday to follow some beauty tips)
and it Seemed she had not touched water for days. (God knows how much of water we waste to
clean our pets) .

Scene 2 :

I looked out of window resisting my mind not to think about her....
There.. A beggar in that cold weather was sleeping in a bus stand without any blanet
to cover himself..
Felt 'what the hell...'

Scene 3 :

Shut my eyes..deciding not to look or thinking anything and concentrating
hard on the reshammiya song.. Finally the bus halted at the college stop..
got down..running towards the gate as i was late.. caught a quick glance around to spot
if there are any latecomers with me.. And saw a very young kid holding a young baby
on his hip..both seemed to be starving for days..begging us..
Another Hell out of my mouth..

For a moment felt why did i say that..
next moment I gave some chocolates i had in my pocket to the kid.
which he grabbed and gave to the baby on his hip..
I felt very happy at his act.. gave a quick smile to him and went to class..

Walking past the corridor of the classroom I felt I had begun my day well
And had learnt a very valuable lesson of Sharing things from the young kid on the street.

Well I think its our duty to help those people who lead such pity life..
We should take the responsibility of building a better life for them like
sponsering a child's education or providing a day s meal etc..
Let s make the world a better place to live..
